Parking and Transit Task Force Thanks
Community for Participation in Survey

Dec. 9, 2005 (Tempe, Ariz.) – The Parking and Transit Task Force, chaired by Dean Patricia White of the College of Law and sponsored by Carol Campbell, ASU Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, would like to thank the university community for participating in the Parking and Transit Task Force Survey distributed via email the week of November 7, 2005.

Over 7,500 students and employees completed one of the respective surveys, yielding an incredible overall response rate of 13%. The student response rate was 11% while the employee response rate was just under 25%.

Industry response standards for a non-incentive survey, similar to the one used by the task force, is 3% – 5%.

Data from the surveys is being reviewed and analyzed by the task force to draft a comprehensive parking and transportation plan that will sustain the Tempe campus well into the future and support the ASU Master Plan.

Results of each survey are broken down by the most popular responses to each question.
