Presentations -- PowerPoint Templates

To download a presentation file:

  1. Click on the desired template link or image.
  2. You will be prompted to save the file to your computer.
  3. Browse to a location and choose "Save." The file will be saved as a PowerPoint presentation (.ppt file).

To save and use the file as a PowerPoint Template:

  1. Download and save the file.
  2. Double-click the file to open in PowerPoint.
  3. In PowerPoint, choose File > Save As.
  4. Select "Design Template (*.pot)" from the Save As Type drop-down list at the bottom of the dialogue box.
  5. File will automatically be save in the Templates folder for Microsoft applications.
  6. To create a file from the template, go to File > New or New from Template and choose it from the list of templates.

Presentations with a light background are best for printing.
