What
is the DARS Student Marker
Requirement Table?
A record will be created
in this table when a student
is enrolled in a minor,
concentration, certificate,
second degree (not dual),
or a special designation
such as AFROTC.
What
is the key (unique identifier
for a row) for DARS Student
Marker Requirement Table?
The key for this table is
the student's ASU ID.
What
is the timing of the DARS
Student Marker Requirement
Table?
This table is completely
replaced on a weekly basis.
It is usually run early
Monday morning. Updating
this table is dependent
on the update of the DARS
Reporting database, which
takes place on Sunday.
Why
would you use it?
This table is valuable in
finding out students enrolled
in minors, concentrations,
certificates, second degrees,
or special designations
such as AFROTC. It could
also be used to determine
how many students in a particular
major or college are pursuing
minors, certificates, second
degrees, or special designations.
Why
would you NOT want to use
DARS Student Marker Requirement
Table?
All students do not have
markers attached, so you
would not use this table
if you were looking for
all students in a particular
degree program or those
with dual degrees.
What
should you look out for?
