TABLE : CLASS MEETING TIME PLACE

WUG March 1995

What is the Class Meeting Time Place table?
This table contains current information on the class meeting times, and place. It is frozen at the end of the semester. This table has multiple records if a class has two or more meeting times and places. The multiple records are numbered by the Class Meeting Number - i.e.. 1, 2, 3.

What is the key (unique identifier for a row) for Registered Student?
Semester, SLN , Class Meeting Number

What is the timing of the table?
This table is updated weekly until the last day of classes when it is frozen.

Why would you use it?
Use this table to get class meeting times and places like what you see in the ASU Schedule of Classes.

Why would you NOT want to use it?
You don't need class times, rooms or buildings.

What should you watch out for?
There are multiple records for classes with two or more meeting times/places.
When a class has multiple records in this table, they are numbered by their Class Meeting Number - 1, 2, 3, etc. There is at present (3/1/95) a temporary problem that causes extra records to be present with Class Meeting Numbers of zero. These records no longer exist on the SIS and queries on this table should exclude Class Meeting Numbers that are 0. Hopefully will soon be fixed.

As is generally true in the Warehouse, the records are never removed even if the SIS record that created the Warehouse record is removed. Classes that are removed from the SIS will still be present
