OVARIAN CANCER

Hispanic women are slightly more likely to develop ovarian cancer than other ethnic minorities, but are less likely than white women.

The gap between Hispanics and Whites is shrinking in this category.

There are four main types of ovarian cancer: Childhood Ovarian Cancer, Epitherial Ovarian Cancer, Ovarian Germ Cell Tumors, and Ovarian Low Malignant Potential Tumors.

Both Whites and Blacks are likely to live longer after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
