LEUKEMIA

There are several types of Leukemia, but the two major types are acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and acute non-lymphoblastic leukemia.

These two types of leukemia combined account for about 93% of all leukemia cases.

Hispanic males and females have a moderate risk of developing leukemia when compared to other ethnic groups.

Latina women have a significantly higher mortality rate compared to other ethnic groups.
