Crisis Services

C&C provides emergency services to ASU students and will consult with parents, faculty and staff who are concerned about the well-being of an ASU student.

If You Are in Crisis

Contact C&C during the daytime and request a same-day appointment by using either number listed below. During the appointment you will meet with a counselor who will assess the situation and recommend a course of action to assist you. If you are living in a residence hall, you can also seek out a member of your hall staff for assistance.

If You Are Concerned About a Student
Members of the ASU community can be very helpful in helping a student in distress to access C&C services.

Encourage the student to contact C&C to make an appointment. If the student is reluctant to come on his/her own, offer to accompany the student to C&C.

  • While C&C cannot make an appointment for a student through a third party, we do offer consultation to concerned parents, faculty, staff, and other students. You may call and ask to speak to a counselor who will help you decide what options are available.

If a crisis occurs on or near campus it is not uncommon for several students, faculty, and staff to be affected. We are willing to talk with groups of faculty, staff, and/or students who have been affected by a crisis. To request this service, please contact us.
