Forms are available in Word (will work with Word 97 or higher), PDF (Portable Document Format), or Rich Text Format.
Word and Rich Text Format versions can be saved to your computer and edited pursuant to the restrictions outlined in the respective area of the OGC Web site.
Documents in PDF can be viewed and printed from any computer, however, you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and interact with the PDF versions. *Note: To access those PDF forms with fields that can be filled in, ensure that you have the latest version of your respective Web browser and Adobe Acrobat Reader. Then download and save the form to a location of your choosing. From that location, open the form, fill in the fields, and resave the form. If you enter data into the fields before saving the form for the first time, some Web browsers may not save the data within the form. You may also print the fillable form(s) with no data in the fields, and fill out by hand.
For more information about contracts, please refer to the Contracts Manual.
If you are preparing a contract without the benefit of a model format, some basic formats can be downloaded and printed from the links below. Please be advised that these form agreements can only be signed by University officials with designated signature authority pursuant to the ASU Contract Signature Authority Policy. In addition, any material or substantive changes to the form contract language or format must be approved by the Office of General Counsel. Failure to insure that the appropriate signature authority is obtained may result in personal liability (A.R.S. 35-154) and loss of insurance coverage for the employee(s) involved in the transaction.
Contracts for the purchase of goods and services where the price exceeds the delegated signature authority must be referred to Purchasing and Business Services. Contracts related to a grant or sponsored project must be administrated through the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects Administration. Contracts for the use of Public Events facilities (Gammage Auditorium, Sun Devil Stadium, Wells Fargo Arena, Kerr Cultural Center) must be administered by ASU Gammage/ASU Public Events (as approved by ASU Public Affairs), except for sporting event contracts for Sun Devil Stadium and Wells Fargo Arena, which are administered through Sun Devil Athletics.
Contracts for the private use of ASU facilities or equipment financed with tax-exempt bonds must be approved by the Senior Associate Vice President for Finance and Deputy Treasurer in addition to any other approvals or signature authority. Please see the ASU Private Use of University Facilities policy.
