Undergraduate students who earn 12 or more graded semester hours (A, B, C, D, or E)
during a semester in residence at ASU with a GPA of 3.50 or higher are eligible
for the Deans List. A notation regarding Deans List achievement
appears only on the final grade report available online at www.asu.edu/registrar.
Additionally, the College of Public Programs uses the following criteria
in determining eligibility and when printing certificates of recognition.
In order for students to be eligible for the Deans list, they
must have started and ended the semester in the College
of Public Programs. So, if a student switched from Psychology to Social
Work on the third day of class, the student would not be included
on the list. The same reasoning is applied to a student who switched
from Recreation to Sociology right before the end of the semester.
We do not include nondegree students.
Students must earn the 3.5 or higher GPA in 12 or more graded semester
hours in courses taken on the main campus. Coursework taken at the
West or East campuses are not considered for Deans list eligibility.
Deans list certificates are mailed to the students permanent
address.
