Goodwill CEO Named Non-Profits' Best Exec
Keith Mason, president and chief executive officer of Goodwill of Central Arizona,
is the new Executive Director of the Year for Large Non-Profit Organizations.
The announcement was made last week at the 11th-annual Organization for Non-Profit Executives
luncheon. The Annual Non-Profit Day was hosted by the Arizona State University Center for
Non-Profit Leadership and Management, which recognizes executives who are examples within the community.
Mason, a Fountain Hills resident, was selected from nine Valley-wide nominations. He was chosen based
on the growth that Goodwill of Central Arizona has experienced under his leadership since 1992 and for
greatly increasing revenue to support the organization. His goals are to streamline processes in the
agency and make use of more technology.
Mason has long been associated with Goodwill. Before coming to the Valley, he was CEO for Lincoln
Goodwill Industries in Nebraska for five years. Mason is active with the Phoenix Rotary 100 and Van
Buren Civic Association.
