NMI CERTIFICATE PROGRAM COURSES
DEVELOPED FOR DISTANCE LEARNING - ONLINE DELIVERY

ASU's Lodestar Center for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Innovation is delivering the essential knowledge and tools of the NMI Certificate Program to students who do not have an opportunity to join face-to-face classroom sessions. So far, the Center has developed five certificate courses for online delivery and is in the process of developing all the required and elective courses in the certificate program for an online/web-based format. Typically, the two-day, face-to-face classes will translate to a three-week, asynchronous online course with designated windows of time to post comments on discussion boards and complete other online learning activities. A variety of features will be incorporated to insure that these distance-learning classes include the essential interactive opportunities available in face-to-face classrooms. For students who are place- or time-bound, the distance learning-online format will enable you to work toward certificate completion in a timely manner. Once fully integrated online, students may take all of their certificate requirements in a face-to-face classroom setting, all of their requirements in the online setting, or a combination of both face-to-face and online formats.
