NMI - CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
The Nonprofit Management Institute offers a comprehensive certificate program that targets the key skills and knowledge needed to successfully manage and lead a nonprofit organization. The Professional Certificate in Nonprofit Management is comprised of a combination of required and elective courses. NMI offers 16 courses taught by outstanding practitioners and instructors. Each class may be taken individually to fine-tune working knowledge of a subject or as part of the comprehensive certificate program. Successful course completion is based on attendance and participation. There are no exams.
Completion
of the comprehensive certificate program specifies that students
complete all required courses and two elective courses of
the student's choice, identified in the lists below.
Students who are currently at some stage of certificate completion
will be advised by NMI staff regarding their remaining requirements
on a case-by-case basis.

Stand-Alone Courses or Certificate Program
You
can choose to take one or more courses in the NMI Certificate
Program, or indicate your intent to complete the entire program.
Certificates of completion are provided for each course, and
a certificate awarding the Professional Certificate in Nonprofit
Management is presented to all graduates at a Spring Reception
hosted by the ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy & Nonprofit
Innovation.Students officially indicate their intent to participate
in the entire program by choosing the ‘Intent to Graduate' on the
registration form accompanied by the administrative fee. This needs
to be indicated one-time only. We ask that you submit your Intent to
Graduate as early as possible after commencing the program so that we
can accurately track completion of the requirements.

Scholarship applications are reviewed once a year, in the summertime. The scholarship application process for this year has closed. Please check back next year for application procedures and deadlines.
