NONPROFIT LEADERSHIP EDUCATION
The Lodestar Center serves as a hub for nonprofit leadership education for undergraduate students, graduate students, and career professionals through a comprehensive array of both credit and noncredit curricular offerings.
The Center facilitates both academic programs and professional development programs.
Academic programs include certificates and degree opportunities at the undergraduate and graduate level.
The latest offerings developed since 2006 include a Bachelor's Degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management and a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Studies.
Professional development education programs are offered through the Nonprofit Management Institute through courses and workshops held at the ASU Mercado Downtown Center in Phoenix and at other selected locations (depending upon market demand). In addition, courses are increasingly available on-line through distance education offerings. The Nonprofit Management Institute offers multi-day courses, one-day and multi-day seminars, and a certificate program, all designed to enhance the skills of nonprofit professionals by providing immediately useable knowledge.
