This Bachelor of Science degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management prepare students with a degree that connects directly to the extensive body of knowledge in nonprofit studies in response to increasing numbers of career positions in the field. It allows graduates enhanced stature to compete favorably with students who have degrees in nonprofit management education from other institutions. The program is a natural extension of the existing certificate program emanating from ASU's already strong reputation in the field at the undergraduate level. And is a direct response to market place demands for such a degree.

The primary career targets are the nonprofit youth and human service organizations in all levels of local and national nonprofit organizations. Typical positions include roles as program directors, fund development directors, field executives, volunteer coordinators, and similar positions from a variety of agencies and organizations. In addition, the proposed program will prepare students for further graduate degree pursuits in nonprofit studies, management public administration, and other related areas.
