AMERICAN HUMANICS PROGRAM OPTIONS
|
B.S. in Nonprofit Leadership & Management: Concentration in American Humanics
Students pursuing the Nonprofit Leadership & Management degree can specialize
in nonprofit/youth agency administration (American Humanics).
In addition to the 33 semester hours of major core classes, this
concentration consists of 15 semester hours of recreation-related
courses, 18 semester hours of nonprofit management related courses
and 200 hours of professional leadership experience. Requirements

American Humanics Certificate Program (any other major)
The American Humanics national certification can be earned in conjunction
with any baccalaureate degree.
In addition to the student's degree curriculum requirements, students
must complete 30 semester hours of nonprofit management related
courses offered by the School of Community Resources and Development
and 200 hours of professional leadership experience. Requirements

Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies: American Humanics emphasis
American Humanics certification can also be earned in conjunction
with the Bachelor's of Interdisciplinary Studies degree (BIS). A
BIS degree consists of two major emphasis areas (as opposed to one
major), of which American Humanics is a qualified emphasis. Requirements
