13th Annual Nonprofit Conference - Building Boards: Strengthening Communities - December 8-9, 2005
Conference Scholarships

The ASU Center for Nonprofit Leadership & Management has a limited number of partial scholarships that will be awarded for the Annual Nonprofit Conference.  The purpose of the scholarships is to afford access to this educational opportunity to nonprofit and community leaders who otherwise would not be able to attend.

We rely on the generosity of our conference sponsors to make these opportunities available to as many organizations as possible.  If you are interested in sponsoring scholarships for this event – and helping us expand the number of awards that can be made – please contact Madia Logan at (480) 965-5288 or at madia.logan@asu.edu.

Who is eligible to apply?

Staff and board members of nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply.  Priority will be given to senior level staff and board member applicants from small to medium sized organizations.  Preference will also be given to applicants representing organizations located outside of Maricopa County.

What is the value of the scholarship?

The scholarship award will cover all but $25 of the total registration fee for the conference.  Scholarship recipients will also have the opportunity to add on a pre-conference workshop at the discounted rate of $25 (50% off).

How do I apply?

Please print out and complete the Scholarship Application form (click here for form) and attach your responses to the required questions on a separate piece of paper.  Your responses need not be lengthy but should directly respond to the questions posed.  Please remember that the requests for scholarships will likely exceed the number available – and the decision to award opportunities will be based on the criteria listed above and your response.

Scholarship applications may be submitted as follows:

How will I be notified?

Scholarship recipients will be notified of their award by November 18, 2005 and will receive detailed instructions regarding confirmation of their attendance and payment of the partial registration fee ($25).
