The Commission on the Status of Women was created by the ASU President in 1991 to monitor the advancement of women in Arizona’s university in three major areas: equity, career development and climate. Since its inception, the Commission has coordinated a number of important programs and opportunities that have helped to increase the status of women at ASU. Over the years, the CSW has honored a long list of individuals for contributions such as program development, volunteerism, activism, mentorship, and research among many others. The CSW is currently accepting nominations for the 2017 CSW Award. Nominations are due to the CSW office by March 27th.
