About Joanna Smith:
I am essentially a native of the Valley in Arizona, and survived high school by playing four varsity sports - my favorite of which was volleyball. I have been at ASU for 3 years, and I must say that it has become my second home; I love it here. I am an avid Sun Devils fan and grow more appreciative each day of my growing body of knowledge that I am obtaining through my opportunities as an Interdisciplinary Studies student. After graduating, I plan on attending graduate school to attin my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, hopefully at UC-Berkeley after which I hope to become a middle school mathematics teacher. I love to travel, and teaching indigenous cultures has become a new passion of mine.
