History: Founded in 1985 on the campus of Arizona State University.
Purpose: To assist students to graduate from ASU, provide students with strategies to overcome barriers to their academic and personal success, work to develop positive peer networks, provide a forum to exercise leadership abilities, and work to develop and maintain pride in African American heritage and experiences.
