Robert Kong

Robert currently serves as the Club's President and oversees the organization and its initiatives. Over the past two years, Robert has worked for RED Development, a developer co-headquartered in Phoenix, AZ and Kansas City, Missouri. During his tenure at RED Development he worked primarily with the acquisitions, asset management, and leasing teams as part of a major acquisition from Macerich a Santa Monica, CA based REIT. Robert is a member of ICSC and ULI Arizona . Upon graduation, he would like to enter an acquisitions role for a commercial real estate equity firm. Robert is currently majoring in Construction Management and expects to graduate in May of 2013.

Justin Kinsler

Justin serves as the VP of Operations and is responsible for the internal duties of ASU Real Estate Club. Currently, Justin is a senior majoring in Construction Management in the Del E. Webb School. Justin has served as an intern at Okland Construction to help build the Health Services Building here on campus. While at Okland he assisted the project engineer by posting RFIs, taking progress photos, conducting safety orientation meetings, and flagging traffic. Justin also was an intern for the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department. While at the City, he co-managed several park renovation projects, provided detailed feasibility research for landfill redevelopment, had economics research given to the City Manager pertaining to constructing a MLS stadium in Downtown Phoenix, and conducted economical research of in house park maintenance. While attending ASU, Justin has also been the Co-Activities Chair for the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) – ASU Student Chapter and the Treasurer of the Sustainable School of Engineering and the Built Environment (SSEBE) Student Ambassadors. Justin will be graduating this upcoming December and is looking to find work in construction management.

Chris Walter

Chris serves as the VP of Operations and is responsible for the internal duties of ASUREC. Currently, Chris is a junior majoring in Economics in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences with a minor in Business through the W.P. Carey School of Business. Chris has served as an intern at Strategic Retail Group, a commercial real estate brokerage firm based out of Scottsdale, AZ. During his internship with Strategic Retail Group, he was involved in project leasing, new developments, tenant representation, investment services, research, video marketing, and COMP reports for properties throughout the Metropolitan Phoenix area. While attending ASU, Chris has been a dedicated member of organizations such as the Department of Information Systems Club (DISC) as well as the Financial Management Association (FMA). After graduation, Chris would like to advance in a career involved in commercial real estate.

Josh serves as the Club's VP of Business Development. He is a Junior Marketing major at the W. P. Carey School of Business. Currently, Josh serves as the Executive Director for the Executive Luncheon Series in conjunction with the Business School Council, Vice President of the W. P. Carey Business Ambassadors, Assistant to the Director of Corporate Relations for W. P. Carey (mainly focusing on the Dean's Council of 100), and a student ambassador chair for the 2010 Spirit of Enterprise awards. Over the last six months, Josh has been interning with Edward Jones Financial Investments in Scottsdale. After college, Josh would like to obtain his Master's in Real Estate and continue into the Commercial Real Estate Development field.
