Center where Pharmacists will be there answering any questions someone
may have about any type of drug/medication.

as well passing out free information and gifts about there company
and products.
o
As the time gets closer, more people and events will be added
to the roster.

We will need help setting up and taking down tables and fliers.

start teaching his 7-week course that prepares you for becoming a
national certified pharmacy technician with the PTCB.
o
The course will be on Wednesday nights from 6-9pm at Southern

you for the November 19th, 2005 exam.
·
Do you need a job as a pharmacy technician? If so, email Rebecca at asuprepharmacy@gmail.com. She has information on various pharmacies
hiring technicians NOW!
·
During the semester, various Universities usually visit the
club and inform us about their school and the requirements for attending.
This semester Midwestern, UA, and Creighton should all be visiting
us! Please look out for these
meetings. They are very informative
and offer you a chance to meet faculty from the different schools.
·
Also, the first Friday of every month will be our club pharmacy
meeting. It will usually be
at 2pm in the Student Health Center room 223. But please look out for different times and locations. Also, when we have guest speakers, our schedule
works around them; so we may have other meetings throughout the month
that are not our usually meeting time so that we can accommodate our
guests. All meeting times
will be posted on the pharmacy club website.
·
Lastly, Bobbie from Kaplan came and visited with the club.
She talked about Kaplan and the different programs and services
they offer for students interested in pharmacy school.
o
Kaplan offers a classroom-setting course with instructors
that prepare you for taking the PCAT.
o
Also, if you have any questions regarding the admissions
process, requirements, or anything else, Bobbie is available to talk
to you and answer any questions you may have.
o
Kaplan is located just off of Mill Ave.
o
The link to Kaplan is posted on the website under links.
Please visit it for more information about Kaplan services
and how they can help you prepare for pharmacy school.
