Written Submissions
-Submitted manuscripts must be of letter quality, typed, preferably in 12pt Times New Roman font, and printed on one side of paper.
-Prose must be double-spaced with 1-inch margins all around. Send poetry and prose separately, limiting submissions to six poems and up to three prose pieces.
-The preferable maximum word count is 10,000 words.
-Submit one copy of each entry with contact information (name, student ID number or affiliate ID, address, e-mail, and phone number), genre, and a stamped, self-addressed envelope for reply.
-We do not consider previously published work. Please inform us if your submitted work is accepted elsewhere for publication.
-Please note that the editors may, at their discretion, contact the writer to make editorial alterations to the submission.
-There is no submission fee. Published writers will receive two copies of the magazine.
-Please include a 100-200 word bio about yourself for an "About the Author" section.
-We now accept ELECTRONIC submissions. See below to find out how to submit electronically.
Art Submissions
-Artwork may be submitted as slides, prints, photographs, or digital files. (Each .tif or .jpg file must be in CMYK color, at 300 dpi, and at least 2400 pixels in its greatest dimension. These files may be emailed or hand delivered on CD.)
-Please label each slide, print, photograph, or CD with your name and the date, size, and media of your artwork. Emailed submissions must include this information in the body of the email.
-Submit one copy of each entry with contact information (name, student ID number or affiliate ID, address, e-mail, and phone number) and a stamped, self-addressed envelope for reply, if hand delivered.

Music Submissions
-One music CD is accepted per performer/ensemble (mp3s, mini-disks, etc are not accepted)
-Please designate which track is being submitted on a music CD. Only one track is allowed per submission.
-Please include contact information with each submission: name of submitter, student ID, email, address, and phone number.
-An image/graphic/picture of the ensemble or performer is preferred, but not required.
-Submit one copy of each entry with a stamped, self-addressed envelope for reply.
-We do not consider previously published work. Please inform us if your submitted work is accepted elsewhere for publication.

The submission deadline for the fourth issue is in October 26th. The magazine is published annually in the spring. Submissions received after the deadline will be held for the next issue. Response time is within 6-8 weeks of submission. Any questions may be addressed to the editors at lux@asu.edu
