the website

Helps with the
Induction Ceremony planning

general and executive meetings
- Coordinates
with the President, Treasurer, and advisor in all matters pertaining
to the Induction ceremony and recruitment of new members
- Organizes
membership renewal drives with the President and Treasurer
- Assist the
Treasurer with the sales of all Gamma Beta Phi merchandise
- Works with
Webmaster, Secretary, Community Service Coordinator to maintain
current merit point lists

chapter’s funds and budget at each Executive Meeting
- Handles sales
of all Gamma Beta Phi merchandise
- Works with
Membership Chair in membership dues and renewal dues

President and advisor in all matters pertaining to
fundraising activities for the society
- Submits
monthly report to the President of all revenues/expenses related to
fundraising
- Attends all
fundraising activities as well as general and executive meetings
- Helps with the
Induction Ceremony planning
- Attends all
general and executive meetings

Responsibilities:
-
Maintains post as the faculty/administrative head of the chapter
-
Meets regularly and
frequently with the Executive Committee
-
Aids the officers
and membership in planning programs, projects, ceremonies, membership
drives, and all other chapter activities.
-
Takes part in as
many of the chapter activities as possible, including attending the
regular meetings, participating in service and fund-raising projects,
and taking part in ceremonies and membership drives
-
Acts as liaison
between the membership and the faculty and administration when, by so
doing, communication and cooperation would be enhanced
-
Makes an effort to
attend both the State Convention and the National Convention as one of
the chapter's voting delegates
-
Aids the President
in the completion of the Chapter Report and its timely submission and
scrutinizing and signing the Annual Financial Report and IRS Statement
-
Tactfully arbitrates
any disputes that the Chapter Executive Committee cannot handle,
ensuring that the chapter President is performing the duties of that
office
-
Keeps the
State President and
National Headquarters informed of chapter activities
-
Meets at the end of
the year with the old and new officers and seeing that the transfer of
information and material is completed
-
Assures that all
chapter materials from Headquarters are distribute properly and not
wasted, and that all forms, reports and payments are sent to
Headquarters on time
-
Keeps the objectives
and ideals of the Society before the officers and members, offering
encouragement and praise at every opportunity and setting an example
for the officers and members by the effort devoted to the Society
