Inter-Religious Dialogue Group
Each semester ECM co-sponsors an Inter-Religious Dialogue group on behalf of the Intergroup Relations Center. One of the IRC’s initiatives is called the Voices of Discovery Program which is designed to encourage interaction between different groups on campus in order to promote understanding around the issues of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, class, disability, status and religion. Join a lively 6 week encounter with students from diverse spiritual/religious backgrounds to learn each others’ traditions, speak across the divides and struggle to understand how to better “relate” to one another.

Lutheran Campus Ministries – ELCA
ECM meets regularly with Lutheran Campus Ministries for worship, community outreach and social events.  Join us for a weekly pot-luck dinner and Bible study, play on the softball league, sip coffee and argue one of life’s larger questions at the Coffee Plantation or prepare and serve food at a local food pantry.  Check our calendar of events for the most up-to-date schedule

Campus Interfaith Council
The Campus Interfaith Council is an ecumenical affiliation with the purpose of promoting good will, cooperation and dialogue among all the religious groups represented in the student body of the university without any compromise of the beliefs of the particular faiths represented and to help build and foster an atmosphere on campus conducive to religious life and thinking. During the 2002-2003 academic calendar, Chaplain Teri Murphy was the vice chair of the Council. In the 2003-2004 academic calendar year she will serve in an executive capacity as the liasion between the CIC and the Center for the Study Of Religion and Conflict.
