Information for Paper Authors:

If your paper has been accepted, please check the schedule below for the timing of your presentation. Please be present in the room at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the session so that you can inform the Session Chair that you are present. At least one author must be prepared to give a 15 minute talk about your research. We will provide a laptop and a projector for your presentation. We will also have an overhead projector in case you decide to bring transparencies instead. A good presentation will introduce the subject area and provide a motivation for the research (what problem exists currently, etc.). Next you can briefly touch upon your proposed solutions and some results. Remember that you will be presenting to students from a variety of different backgrounds. There might also be some new graduate students / undergraduate students present. Allow a couple minutes for Q+A from the audience.

Information for Poster Authors:

Please print your posters and bring them along with you on the day of the Symposium. Check the schedule below for the timings of the poster session. You will be provided a table/easel and a board on which you can attach your slides. Remember to bring along some pins or tape to attach your poster to the board.
