Oceanside Advertising Sponsorships

We are pleased to announce that ASU Hockey has a unique opportunity to raise the funds we need to cover our expenses. ASU hockey will get a percentage of all ads sold. Sponsorships

ASU Hockey needs your support for our 2008-2009 season. We are not recognized as a varsity sport and have no formal affiliation with the ASU athletic department. Because of this, over 70% our funding comes from dues paid by players. The other 30% through fundraising and generous supporters like you!  It costs approximately $110,000 to operate the team for 1 year.  

We currently charge our players approximately $2,800 for the year and they are responsible for most of their own equipment.  Our largest expense is travel.  In 2008-2009 we are traveling to the LA area to play USC, UCLA and to Nevada to play UNLV. We will also travel to San Jose, Oregon and Colorado to play 3 games on each trip.  We are planning to host the PAC 8 tournament in Arizona in February of 2009 and hope to make it to the National Tournament in March.

We understand that many individuals and businesses have contributed to or sponsored programs by providing funding, goods, and services to other ASU organizations and we hope you will consider hockey a worthy recipient.

Your sponsorship can make a difference by helping provide safer travel, better equipment, and greatly easing the financial burden on students that play hockey at ASU.

Since sponsors are an important part of our success we have provided the following advertising and promotional opportunities to our sponsors. All corporate sponsors that want to be recognized for their support will see their logos at the bottom of this web sites pages, be recognized on team promotional materials and mentioned throughout the game broadcasts. Individual sponsors will be recognized and thanked on this web site and during game broadcasts.

Donate

We are currently soliciting donations to help us with the 2008-2009 season. We would appreciate any help you might be willing to give. Funds cannot be raised in support of an individual player but can be raised in support of a specific line item. For example, broadcasting, ice time, equipment, travel expenses, or coaches salary etc. Please consider supporting our team. Please make your checks payable to Sun Devil Hockey Blueliner Club. ASU Hockey is a non-profit organization so all donations are tax deductible.
