Seeking justice with the love of God.   -Luke 11:42

Grace and peace to you! We are blessed you took time to visit our website.

The Christian Legal Society at ASU is an affiliated student chapter of the Christian Legal Society (CLS). Founded in 1961, CLS is a national, non-denominational Christian membership organization of lawyers, judges, law professors, and law students whose members participate in the broad and rich variety of Christian traditions.

CLS at ASU is organized to pursue three goals:

  1. Spiritual Formation : : We seek to cultivate spiritual growth through communal prayer, fellowship, and worship, learning to share one's faith, and devotional study of the Bible and classic Christian works.
  2. Christian Calling : : Through our meetings and activities we address the question: "What does it mean to be a Christian in the law?", that is, submitting every aspect of one's calling in the legal profession to Christ's authority.
  3. Compassionate Outreach : : We strive to show the love of Christ to the campus community by proclaiming the gospel in word and in deed, such as through a life of integrity and charitable good works, or as Martin Luther put it, "to be Christ to our neighbors."
