- Events:
ASA hosts several events throughout the year geared towards providing students a diverse understanding of the career opportunities in the accounting profession. ASA also hosts several social events that provide great opportunities for networking with professionals and interacting with fellow classmates.
- Jobs and Internships:
Through the events hosted by ASA, members will have the opportunity to network with professionals and employers. ASA periodically posts job/internship opportunities on the ASA organization Blackboard site. ASA members will also learn valuable professional skills by participating in interview and career preparation events.
- Resume CD:
We showcase our members each academic year by creating a CD of up-to-date resumes that each member submits at the beginning of each Fall semester. ASA then provides all firms/companies who attend the Meet the Firms event with this CD. This gives recruiters a great tool for getting to know our members.
- Community Involvement:
ASA focuses on creating well-rounded students and encourages its members to become leaders in the community. ASA usually has some type of community service event each semester to provide our members with an opportunity to give back to their community.
- Leadership Opportunities:
ASA encourages its members to become leaders. Through ASA's executive board, members are provided with the opportunity to be leaders in ASA, at ASU, and in the business community. It is the dedicated efforts of the executive board that make ASA events possible.
