NEW MEMBERSHIP
When you join ASA, you will find many opportunities for you to prepare for your future.
One of our most successful events is “Meet the Firms” where students meet recruiters
from local, regional, and Big Four Accounting Firms as well as industry.
Firm representatives will answer questions and may become valuable future contacts.
There are several events during the semester that are designed for you to meet and
interact with professionals. We give firm members many opportunities to meet and
remember you by supplying them with a resume directory and a membership directory.
ASA also hosts a variety of social activities. These events are fun and allow you to
build relationships with other students. This is another important aspect of your future
career because these students will be the professionals of tomorrow. Networking is
a key component in business, and it is never too early to start.
We focus on creating well-rounded future professionals, so ASA encourages interaction
with the community through philanthropic activities and community service. Although
each member may only spend one morning or afternoon completing a community service
activity, we are happy that we are able to reach out and make a difference.
In addition to our other goals, ASA provides a chance for members to enhance
leadership, organization, time management, and public speaking skills.
By participating on a committee, as a chairperson, or as an officer, members can
develop these life-long skills.
We hope that you will become a member of the Arizona State University
Accounting Students’ Association. Please join us at our first event
at the beginning of the semester.
We wish you a very successful semester and look forward to meeting you!
