2002 Collegiate QSO Party Results

The club opted to operate in the brand new Collegiate QSO Party this year and skip the November Sweepstakes. For the first time since the club has been revived, we operated on campus during a Saturday. Setup time was at 04:15 local time, making for a very long, tiring day. We operated outside the Student Services Building with our R7 temporarily mounted on the third floor balcony. Campus was dead all day and we failed to recruit any new members. We did, however, have fun.

A special thanks goes to Patricia Munson at the Student Services Building for helping us solve Saturday building access issues. Thanks also goes to KC7KFF for loaning us their R7 antenna.

After arriving on campus at 04:15, the lack of sleep finally takes its toll on the operators. (KC7MOD and KC7EFP)

Lack of sleep will make you, too, view the world quite differently. KC7MOD talks and logs.

Amazingly, it is dark again. The contest end is near! (KC7EFP, Jenny, and KC7MOD)
