Fall 2011 Technician Licensing Classes

Back by popular demand, the Amateur Radio Society is pleased to be offering technician licensing classes again this semester. If you've ever wanted to get your ham radio license but didn't want to learn the theory on your own, this is the perfect opportunity for you. These classes are open to the general public. Details are as follows:

Time: 18:00 - 20:00

Where: LL 10, Arizona State University Tempe Campus, Tempe, AZ
Cost: Class is free!
Suggested textbook: $30 ($23 if preordered. See below.)
Licensing exam fee: $15 (due when taking exam.)

The suggested textbook is The ARRL Ham Radio License Manual 2nd Edition and is available locally at Ham Radio Outlet or online at the ARRL for $30 (plus shipping). A limited number of textbooks will be available for purchase at the first class for $23. Contact Nicholas Radtke, KC7MOD to reserve one in advance.

No pre-registration is required. Optionally, if you plan on attending, we appreciate you sending email to Nicholas Radtke, KC7MOD so that we can notify you if there are any last minute changes.
