Our head instructors are David Nachman and Veronica Burrows. Mr. Nachman and Ms. Burrows both hold sixth degree black belt rank in Aikido. They have been teaching and organizing Aikido groups since 1981. We refer to them as David Sensei and Roni Sensei, and we consider ourselves fortunate to have their experienced guidance. David and Roni Sensei donate their time to the ASU Aikido club by rotating instruction on Wednesdays and advising club members and officers.
David Enevoldsen is the regular club instructor. He is a Shodan, or first degree black belt, and a recent graduate of Arizona State University. He has studied under David and Roni Sensei since 1996.
Sometimes practice may be started or led by the most senior student available.
