with the dates and information about upcoming events.

                                    b. We could include a schedule of events with enrollment

information to generate interest and enthusiasm for the ACDA.

            A. Networking is one of our most important goals

                        1.  Who you know is critical in this profession.

                                        among ACDA members.

                        2.  Discussion about a “Meet and Greet” for Choral Students and                                                   Choral Professors in the fall.

                                    a. We could co-sponsor this event with the Choral Faculty

                                    b. We could use this time to socialize, answer questions,                                                                 and tell students about our organization and upcoming                                                         events.

                                    c. Jason will talk to Dr. Larson about this idea.

                        4.  Discussion about the fact that undergraduate students often need

encouragement and support.  Social events can provide opportunities

for students to help and encourage each other.

                                         participate as well.

                                    c.  This might be a good event for Fall of 2005.

                        2.  Discussion about the need to familiarize ourselves with good repertoire

                                    a.  We could sponsor a repertoire review (or sing-along) where                                                      students are invited to bring their favorite choral repertoire.

                                    b.  Students could take turns conducting their favorite pieces.

                                    c.  This could be done once each semester with a different

theme for each event i.e. high school music, junior high, etc.

                        3.  We could co-sponsor an out of state clinician with the MENC.

            D.  We need to set up a meeting with the Choral Faculty to discuss goals and get
