On Saturday, Feb 16th 2008, ABLA's E-board officers and members volunteered for the Chinese New Year Celebration in downtown Phoenix.
The event was sponsored by the Family with Children from China (FCC), an non-profit organization serves families with adopted Chinese children in central Arizona.

The event went from 10am to 2pm, volunteers helped on various tasks such as face-painting, bakery-selling, food-serving, game-preparing, visitors-registration etc. Lunches were provided to all volunteers by FCC during the event.

ABLA's next community services will be on Saturday, Feb 23th at the Glendale Civic Center, the  Lunar Chinese New Year Banquet hold by Asian Chamber of Commerce.
