This was ABLA’s second meeting of the Spring 2008 Semester. During this meeting members competed in ABLA’s International Trivia Game. The format was similar to Jeopardy and questions were prepared by e-Board officers which tested participants in areas of knowledge including: Asian Geography, Asian Culture, General Business, Asian Business, and Miscellaneous ABLA related information. The winners of the game would receive a free movie ticket to ABLA’s upcoming Movie Social event (time and place to be announced).

The two teams competing were the Amazing Asians vs. the Lucky Rats. The Lucky Rats took an early lead, however the Amazing Asians battled back to make it a close game towards the end. The Amazing Asians made a come-back during “Final Jeopardy” with the game ending in a tie!

Following the game an announcement was made regarding ABLA’s Picnic Social being held this Saturday, February 9.

• Location: Kiwanis Park, 111 Baseline Rd., Tempe AZ ( “Ramada” picnic site )

• Once you arrive at Kiwanis Park, please follow the balloons to find ABLA’s picnic site

Members were also able to RSVP their spots during the meeting. Also, car pool arrangements are being made.
