ABBA made about $400 in the Harry Wood auction, which includes an anonymous donation of $50.

Thank you to Shannon Ecke who has volunteered to maintain the ABBA web site! The site will be updated with current officers and members as well as announcements for shows, lectures and workshops.

Workshop- A Book of Boxes (November 20th)
Those who are participating will receive an email with details and a list of supplies to bring.
V. Legal information
Dan attended a legal seminar for ASU student groups. Issues surrounding insurance liability and student responsibility were discussed. Dan has a manual and contact information for anyone who has questions. If ABBA participates in any off campus activities, or outreach volunteer work, we will discus these matters further.
VI. Funding
ABBA will be applying for funding from the SORC next spring. This money will go towards bringing in guest speakers, and funding workshops. Thank you to Sharon Billings who has volunteered her time to research our options.
VII. Spring plans

the type shop.

Katherine know your thoughts on the following ideas for the spring. Decisions will be made according to
your responses.
Tentative plans for next spring:
a. Visiting artist talk: two book artists from Alberta, Canada have proposed to do a lecture and to show examples of their work. Cattletrack Press in Scottsdale may host this event. To look at the work of Peter and Jane, visit: http://members.shaw.ca/pbjpress/
b. 2 one-day workshops with Joe DÕAmbrosio on how to construct a clam shell structure. Open to public.
c. Workshop taught by ABBA members, for our group or for the public.
d. Exhibit the work of ABBA members in the Hayden Library.
e. January 20th -group trip to Tohono Chul Park in Tucson for the Bound and Unbound exhibition opening. (see additional information below)

entries due November 12, 2004.
