Please accept our invitation to become a part of the Chicano/Latino Faculty & Staff Association (CLFSA) of Arizona State University. Founded in the fall of 1970, CLFSA’s mission is to enhance the welfare of all residents of Arizona and to promote the education and advancement of the Chicano/Latino community.
CLFSA is always seeking and inviting new and current faculty and staff to become members. If you are interested in becoming a member please click on the link below to complete the Membership Form.
New ASU faculty and staff get their first year waived. All other members pay an annual due of $30.00.

All meetings occur the first Wednesday of every month effective 9/7/2011 until 4/30/2012 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (GMT-07:00)
The main room where the meetings take place is at the Tempe Campus CPCOM 120, but we offer a Video teleconference for those who are not located at the tempe campus, see below for rooms details:

About the CLFSA..
The ASU Chicano Association of Faculty & Staff (as it was formerly known), was founded in the Fall of 1970.
According to its Constitution, in Article II: the purpose of the Association was to:
- promote by close contact an exchange of ideas and experiences. Hereby endeavoring to express concern for the policies, issues, and discussions that affect the progress of the Chicano at ASU to the end that by greater efficiency and understanding we can better serve the interests of the Chicano at ASU;
- establish a better understanding and appreciation, on the part of the university and the community as a whole, of the problems faced by the Chicano at this university;
- study ways and means of expressing our concern for the problems faced by Chicanos to the proper university administrative affairs and of putting into effect practical remedies;
- cooperate with student organizations and others who share our concern and philosophy;
- educate the status of the Chicano on campus and to insure that his concerns are heard in the highest levels of the university...
