The USS Project staff is proud to be partnered with several Maricopa County and City of Phoenix Head Start classrooms. As part of this partnership, the USS project provides $500 in funds to each classroom (each year) for supplies and equipment. In the last 3 years of the project, USS has purchased digital cameras, photo printers, playground equipment, books and CDs, and fully stocked backpacks for children to take to Kindergarten. Additionally, payments are made to teachers and families for their valuable time when they are asked to complete questionnaires.
