Advising

We take advising seriously! Students are encouraged to meet regularly with an advisor to help plan their course of study or if they are facing difficulties in their classes.

Our advisors can assist students in identifying and choosing classes that meet their academic needs and personal interests while allowing them to graduate in a timely manner. They also help students negotiate the University labyrinth and complete the forms necessary for graduation, as well as learn about services available on campus. In short, our advisors can make a large university like ASU seem smaller and more personal. Best of all...advising is FREE!

To schedule an appointment with an advisor, call 480-965-6978.

You can also come to open advising (no appointment required) for the Spring 2008 semester on the below days/times. If there is no line, please check in with the advisor. If there is a line, please wait for advising in the lobby by SS 109. It is recommended that you call 480-965-6978 to confirm that open advising will be available on a given date.
