The School of Social and Family Dynamics offers two distinct majors - Family/Human Development and Sociology. However, the school's faculty, staff, and students work collaboratively to provide a well-rounded learning experience and conduct socially relevant research.

SSFD awards outstanding graduate students *Graduate Student Recognition Fellowship Awards* SSFD seeking a graduate teaching/research assistant/associate - download job announcement for details (Word file) Stephen Kulis has achieved the title of Cowden Distinguished Professor of SSFD - "This professorship is awarded to senior faculty members who have demonstrated a commitment to the highest levels of excellence and dedication to the school, the community, and the profession." The school's honors program is a new and exciting opportunity that offers students a unique undergraduate experience (apply by March 7 at 5pm) Check out Social and Family Dynamics Faculty Grants! Premchand Dommaraju, a graduate student, won the Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) Fellowship in Population and Reproductive Health! Dr. Cecilia Menjivar will receive the 2007 Distinguished Contribution to Research Award from the American Sociological Association's Section on Latino/a Sociology! Social and Family Dynamics class among those voted "Most Fun" by ASU students!
