Child and Family Sciences

September 30 - October 2, 2011: Professional Development Conference for Undergraduates Interested in Graduate Training in Family and Child Sciences

Eligibility

Around 20 undergraduate students will be selected for participation. You are eligible if you:

  • Will be a senior during the 2011-2012 academic year, or have graduated by that time
  • Have an interest in research-oriented graduate education in a discipline related to child and family sciences (family studies, human development, psychology, education, etc.) and plan to apply to a doctoral program in this area (students whose primary interests are clinical are not encouraged to apply)
  • Have a minimum overall GPA of 3.25
  • Are willing to attend and actively participate in the conference if selected
  • The deadline for applications is March 1, 2011 and students can expect to be notified of their admission status by the end of April.
