I am a 5th year doctoral student in Sociology. My research is currently focusing on son preference in India. I am looking at the reasons for this preference and how it drives population growth. I am interested in knowing how Indian men visualize their child bearing intentions and how this influences their behaviors in this regard.
I am also interested in marriage choices made by couples in the United States and am looking into starting projects in that area.
