Email: Masumi.Iida@asu.edu
The central theme in my research program can be characterized as the synergy of
the advanced methods and substantive research questions. To this end, my training and research
interests span several domains of social, health, developmental and quantitative psychology, as
well as family dynamics and human development. My substantive expertise lies in the area of
stress, coping, and well-being, with emphases on dynamic processes and family relationships.
Most of my research has concentrated on understanding the determinants and consequences of
social support using a dyadic daily diary method.
