I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Sociology program in the T. Denny Sanford School of Social and Family Dynamics.  I have a bachelor's degree in computer science and a master in sociology. My current research  interest include Demography, Migration, Latino/a studies, the U.S. and the U.S.-Mexico borderlands, and the intersections of gender.  I am currently studying the experiences of unaccompanied minors (that is children that migrate alone).
