I am a Ph.D. student and teaching assistant focusing on medical sociology
in the Sociology program within the School of Social and Family Dynamics.
My interests lie in the determinants of physical and mental health in
aging populations and the impact of political economy on the contemporary
health lifestyle. I am currently participating in research fostering
social perspectives on weight loss surgery as well as research on the
characteristics of populations who consume yoga.
