Health Disparities and Culturally-grounded Prevention Research

CePoD affiliates collaborate with researchers at the Southwest Interdisciplinary Research Center (SIRC) on a variety of projects that examine health disparities within populations of the Southwest. Projects and pilot studies at SIRC examine substance use, Latino acculturation, mining town isolation and economic downturns, Native American youth, ethnic youth appearance, and co-occurring disorders among Latinos.
