Hello! My name is Mila da Costa and I am originally from Portugal. I moved to Arizona in March of 2009 in order to pursue a master's degree here at ASU. I am glad to say that I graduated in July 2010 with a Master's of Advanced Study (MAS) in Infant Family Practice from the School of Social and Family Dynamics. When I first started working at the CDL in 2009, I was a student staff worker in Maureen's classroom. Now, I am starting my third year as a Lead Teacher in this multi-age classroom. I plan to apply my experience of working with children here at the CDL along with my knowledge in Child Development and Infant Mental Health in order to promote developmentally appropriate activities for your children. I am very excited about this year!! See you all at the CDL.

Hello, my name is Isabel Lomeli. I will be the new intern teacher in Mila's class room. I was born and raised in Yuma, AZ. I love spending quality time with my fiancé and friends. I love to bake, and travel when I get the chance. I also enjoy going home to visit my family and getting spoiled by my mom's home- cooked meals.

Last semester as I was finishing my undergrad, I came upon the CDL when I enrolled in CDE 338. I instantly feel in love with the whole CDL experience and realized I wanted more. I graduated last May with my bachelors in Family & Human Development. With a bit of encouragement from Mila and Bob, I applied and was accepted into the MAS in Infant& Family Practice program. I believe that working at the CDL will provide me with a great opportunity to apply my knowledge and grow as a professional. I am looking forward learning and growing with the CDL staff, students, and families.
