David William Foster (Ph.D., University of Washington, 1964 [B.A., 1961; M.A., 1963 University of Washington]) dirige o School of International Letters and Cultures da Arizona State University, onde é Profesor Emérito de Letras Hispánicas, Humanidades Interdisciplinares e Estudos da Mulher. Seu programa de pesquisas se concentra na cultura urbana da América Latina, com énfase nas questões relativas à construção do género e à identidade sexual, com um interesse na violência que atinge a dissidência social e sexual.

Isis Costa McElroy. Assistant Professor of Afro-Brazilian Literatures and Culture. She received her Ph.D in Comparative Literature at New York University, where she also received an M.A. in English Literature. Clarice Deal is a lecturer with a MA degree from Arizona State University, where she has been teaching since 1990. She has received the CLAS Distinguished Teaching for excellence as well as having been nominated three other times.
