Thanks to a generous donation from the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles, the Italian section was able to offer one additional course during the fall of 2001.

The section is fortunate in enjoying the support and encouragement of the Consul General of Italy in Los Angeles, the Hon. Dr. Massimo Roscigno, and the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute, Dr. Guido Fink and Deputy Director Dr. Rubens Piovano. Their dedication to promoting Italian language and culture in the United States makes a great difference to our students and faculty.
