The Faculty of Classics and Middle Eastern Studies includes professors and lecturers who teach ancient and modern languages, literatures, and cultures of the Mediterranean in four diverse programs including Arabic, Classics (Ancient Greek and Latin), Hebrew, and Persian. Our programs provide an education that fosters excellence among students and broadens their awareness of diversity nationally and internationally. Our Faculty offers an Integrated Studies Major in Classical Studies, a Certificate in Classical Studies, as well as a Certificate in Arabic Studies. Both Certificates are offered in conjunction with another major as part of students’ general education.
