SHS 401 Introduction to Audiology. (3 credits) Introduces hearing disorders and the purposes and procedures for basic clinical tests of auditory function. Credit is allowed for only SHS 401 or 501. Prerequisites: both SHS 311 and 376, or instructor approval.

SHS 504 Amplification. (4 credits) Operation, electroacoustic measurement, selection and prescriptive fitting of amplification devices.

SHS 508 Pediatric Audiology. (3 credits)
This course emphasizes the principles and procedures for early identification and management of congenital and early-onset hearing loss. Prerequisites: SHS 502, or instructor approval.
